In Deuteronomy 8:16 Moses explained why Israel faced hardships in the desert wandering. They were all tests. To pass the tests meant that Israel would be blessed by God.

In 2011 I will be working toward reading the entire Bible over 12 months for the 7th consecutive year.
Normally I will share my thoughts from some part of each passage that I read. I am hoping to find reflections of Jesus in each passage that I read. But that may not be the focus of my notes. I may miss a day here and there, but my real goal is to spend most days reading the Word.
