There were a couple thoughts that stood out as I read the letter:
1. Paul not only could talk "forever", he could write "forever" as well. Twice he stated in the letter "in conclusion"; 3:1, 4:8.
2. I wonder if the names Paul mentions were any of the people whom he encountered in his first visit to Philippi. (Acts 16:12-40)
It took me about 20 minutes for this passage.

In 2011 I will be working toward reading the entire Bible over 12 months for the 7th consecutive year.
Normally I will share my thoughts from some part of each passage that I read. I am hoping to find reflections of Jesus in each passage that I read. But that may not be the focus of my notes. I may miss a day here and there, but my real goal is to spend most days reading the Word.
