Verse 30 of this chapter tells a powerful truth. Honoring the Lord is more profitable than charm or beauty. A truth that I need to remember for my own life and in the lives of those I befriend.

In 2011 I will be working toward reading the entire Bible over 12 months for the 7th consecutive year.
Normally I will share my thoughts from some part of each passage that I read. I am hoping to find reflections of Jesus in each passage that I read. But that may not be the focus of my notes. I may miss a day here and there, but my real goal is to spend most days reading the Word.
